Mi chiamo Erick e sono un fotografo professionista che vive nella Contea di Orange, in California. Vivere in un posto così bello mi ha offerto innumerevoli opportunità fotografiche, di cui sento di aver solo scalfito la superficie. Come surfista, trascorro gran parte del mio tempo in spiaggia, il che si riflette nel mio lavoro, ma amo anche viaggiare, cosa che mi ha fornito molte delle immagini che vedete sulla mia pagina.
Adoro trascorrere il tempo all'aria aperta, in spiaggia, in montagna e nel deserto, dove sono sempre lì a inquadrare "lo scatto". Sono affascinato dalla luna e spesso la considero il soggetto principale delle mie immagini. Pianifico uno scatto per settimane prima che si realizzi. E passo ore o giorni ad aspettare la luce giusta, soprattutto quando si tratta di eclissi solari o lunari. La maggior parte dei miei lavori non è mai stata mostrata al grande pubblico, quindi ho pensato che fosse giunto il momento di cambiare. Mi fa un po' paura espormi al mondo per essere giudicato, ma mi sembra un peccato tenere questa bellezza tutta per me.

My name is Erick and I am a professional photographer living in Orange County, California. Living in such a beautiful place has provided countless photo opportunities, for which I feel I have only scratched the surface. As a surfer, I spend much of my time at the beach which is reflected in my work, but I also love to travel which has provided many of the images you see on my page.
I love spending time outdoors at the beach, mountains and desert where I am always framing up "the shot". I am fascinated by the moon and often make it a primary subject of my images. I will plan a shot for weeks to make that shot happen. And I will spend hours or days waiting for just the right light – especially when it comes to solar or lunar eclipses. Most of my work has never been seen by the general public, so I figured it's about time I change that. It feels a little scary putting myself out into the world to be judged, but it seems a shame to keep this beauty all to my self.
