5 out of 5 starsOne of my favorite incense. When I've ordered the charcoal free incense burner, she included a free sample of the incense. Right away, I fell in love with the incense. It's a great product because it has all the important sacred herbs known to purify your space and ward off negative energy. She was thoughtful to include 2 free tea candles with the order.

4 out of 5 starsI had been looking for an incense burner for my resin for a long time. I finally found this one. It works well for the most part, however I learned that the flame on a regular tea light isn't big enough for hot enough to keep the resin going. So I ended up having to buy some refillable tea lights that have a larger flame. The item does not work perfectly, but it is beautiful and does a fine job.

Incense can encourage relaxation, strength, deep meditation, love, and a sense of well being.
Hi there! My name is Lindsey and I am the owner and maker at Esoteric Odyssey. My passion for herbs started 10 years ago when I completed an herbalist course. At that time, I didn’t expect that my strongest connection with herbs would be through incense and aromatic healing, but I am so glad I finally followed the way that resonated with my heart.
When I started this business, I promised myself that the foundation was going to be based on trust, honesty, and staying true to who I am. It is a gift to be able to be a part of something that allows me to just be myself and express the unique individual that I am.
I’ve been taught that my life on this earth isn’t all about me. I feel that I have a responsibility to maintain a balance as much as I can. How I do that is by using organic and wild crafted herbs, biodegradable packaging as much as I can, and always offering my respect and gratitude for everything I use.
Are you looking for a natural way to bring you a sense of well-being?

Frequently asked questions
How do I burn loose incense & resins using charcoal discs?
You will need a heatproof bowl (stone, cast iron, metal, etc), a charcoal disc, a lighter, tongs, sand/salt (optional), and your incense.
• Prepare a heatproof bowl by adding sand/ash/salt (this disperses the heat)
• Hold disc with tongs. Light disc until it starts to spark. Set into the bowl on top of sand/ash/salt.
• Wait a few minutes for the charcaol disc to heat.
• Sprinkle a pinch of loose incense or resins onto the hot disc.
• Enjoy the pleasant aroma and healing benefits!
• When burned up, use tongs to clear off the disc.
• Sprinkle another pinch of incense. Repeat as many times as you want.
• When done – either cover the bowl or let it burn to ash. Discard when cooled.
How do I burn loose incense & resins using the tea candle brass burner?
First, you want to make sure you adjust the tray to your desired height. Once the candle is lit, the entire burner will get hot.
Make sure the mesh screen is laying in the tray (remove the brass bowl and set to the side)
Place a large pinch of loose incense or a small pinch of resins onto the mesh screen.
Light the candle and enjoy the aromas!
If you need to adjust the height you will either need to blow the candle out and let it cool down, or use a towel/gloves to handle the hot metal.
How do I clean the tea candle brass burner?
To remove any built-up resins and burnt herbs the best thing is to either get it real hot and allow it to burn off, or while it is still fairly hot you can take a rag and wipe it clean while the resins are soft.
It is common for the mesh screen to eventually blacken. This does not hurt it, but you can use store-bought brass polish, or a handmade polish to clean the mesh screen, as well as, the entire burner.
