All of Esther and Harper's inventory is vintage or antique. What am I agreeing to in terms of condition when I purchase your products?

We are an online shop featuring vintage home decor. The vintage pieces in our shop are true vintage or antique. As the nature of true vintage, our items are in used condition with varying states of wear, as indicated in our item descriptions. Your purchase indicates that you have read the item's description and are aware of it's condition as outlined.

Can I return an item purchased from Esther and Harper?

All sales on our vintage items are final - we do not offer refunds, credits or exchanges on these items. All item listings include detailed information about the item, what it is, it's condition and it's dimensions as to help you make an informed decision before purchasing. Clear concise photos are also included as part of the description. If you are unsure about an item, or unsure if it will work for your application, please ask questions before purchasing as we will happily supply you with more information, if needed.

How do you photograph Esther and Harper's inventory in order to give the most accurate representation of the product?

All our photos are taken in natural daylight. We take our photos as accurately as possible to display our inventory as true to form as possible, and take multiple photos at various angles for best lighting. There are no touch-ups or adjustments in the colors of our photos (as we are capturing the natural product in the lighting available to us at the time of shooting). Please remember that every computer monitor is different, so the colors you see online may not be exactly the same as the item when you receive it.

What are Esther and Harper's standard shipping practices that take effect once I make my purchase?

Your purchase will be shipped within 48 hours of placing your order. We typically ship your package the same day your order is placed.

While we can't always predict shipments once they leave our shop, we find that most domestic packages are delivered within 2-5 days, depending on your location. Most international packages are delivered within 6-21 days (with longer lead times depending on your location).

All orders are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive safely and as described, and include delivery confirmation and tracking information.

Once your package ships, you will receive email confirmation of your tracking number.

Do Esther and Harper charge any added shipping fees?

The shipping charges for each listing are determined based upon your location and will also appear in your Shopping Cart. The Shopping Cart will also show shipping charges for multiple purchases (combined shipping).

Typically there are no added handling or packaging fees unless otherwise stated in the listing.

What are Esther and Harper's shipping policies for domestic (USA) shipments?

Traditionally, small domestic packages that weigh 13 ounces or less are shipped via USPS First Class Mail.

Small items that weigh more than 13 ounces are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

We reserve the right to change the carriers or methods of shipping if we feel it necessary to ensure the safest and most reliable option for your order.

Heavy or bulky items are shipped via UPS Ground.

We also offer delivery and pick up for orders placed within in the Baltimore or surrounding areas.

What are Esther and Harper's shipping policies for international (outside the USA) shipments?

We ship worldwide - please contact us if your location is outside of the USA.

International orders that weigh 4 pounds or less (when packaged) are shipped via USPS International First Class Mail (typically 6-21 days in transit).

Items that weigh more than 4 pounds are shipped via USPS International Priority Mail (typically 6-10 days in transit).

Any custom fees, duties (tariffs), or taxes are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Because every country has different fees, these charges are not included in the shipping charges in our listings. Please contact your local customs office to determine what these fees will be before making your purchase. You may also check to determine any added fees.

Does Esther and Harper offer combined shipping or expedited shipping?

We are happy to offer combine shipping whenever possible. Contact us for a quote. If you need something delivered sooner than our standard times, please select a shipping upgrade in your Shopping Cart, or contact us for other shipping methods.

What are Esther and Harper's policies for if my order gets damaged upon arrival?

If an order arrives damaged through the shipping carrier, please report this to us within 2 days of receiving your order. Please keep the original shipping box and packaging materials. We will require additional information and photos of the damaged package in order to file a claim. In some cases, the shipping carrier will come to retrieve the package to finish a claim. All claims must be made within 2 days of package delivery - we are unable to file a claim after 2 days.

Damage claims must be made by contacting our shop, NOT the shipping carrier. If you have any questions, please contact us. Refunds on damaged packages can take up to 30 days, depending on the shipping carrier.

What are Esther and Harper's policies if my order has been sent back unclaimed?

If an item comes back to us marked as unclaimed for any reason, we are not responsible for any shipping fees. The item will be relisted without refund unless the buyer contacts us, asking for the item to be reshipped at their own expense.
