Shop policies

Most the products sold on Esty ELLE are vintage antique items. Because these are older items, some amount of wear should be expected. In most cases, this wear will be minimal (or will even contribute to the look and authenticity of the piece). Occasionally, I will list items that have more damage. If this is the case, then the damage will be noted in description or pictures, and will be reflected in the price. Please read the *entire description* and look at all the pictures before making your purchase.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept Paypal which does accept credit cards. It's fast and easy to set up an account with them using a credit or debit card. You can go to paypal.com and follow the steps it's really easy.

You do not need a PayPal account to use your credit card. When you check out, choose PayPal; select the option "I do not have a PayPal account." Click "continue" and follow the instructions. But please consider PayPal, it is the safest way to pay. Please contact me if you're having any kind of difficulty with payment.

I ask that payment be received within 24 hours of purchase. I can't ship the item until payment is recieved. If payment is not received within 24 hours of initial order I will send a reminder message and if I don't hear back I will have to re-list the item.

Shipping policies apply only after payment has cleared.

Shipping
All items will be packaged carefully. Shipments will go out on Mondays and Thursdays. If expedited shipping is needed please convo me and in most cases orders can be expedited.

I cannot be held responsible for any item once it is turned over to the shipping service.
Shipping and insurance are separate from the total of your purchases (price of the item)...therefore it is your responsibility and not included as total purchase price...If you would like to add insurance please convo me and let me know.

Most of the shipping prices are an estimate, if the actual shipping cost is a lot less than the shipping quote in most cases I will refund you the difference via paypal. Please convo me with any questions regarding shipping.

For international shipping the buyer is responsible for any extra fees that may be incurred at customs etc.

Please make sure to provide the correct address during your purchase. Once an order has shipped, I will not be able to change the address until delivery is attempted and returned by USPS. If you find that you’ve given the wrong address, please let me know immediately, since I may not have shipped your package yet.
In all cases, original shipping charges are non-refundable.

This includes packages that are refused and shipped back to me. If re-shipment is required, additional charges will be incurred.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please be sure to check all the measurements and ask any questions BEFORE placing your order. I am more than happy to provide any additional information requested. Since the items are vintage, they will show some amount of wear. I do my best to disclose the condition of the item in both photos and description. However if you believe an item has been grossly misrepresented, or if a significant flaw was overlooked please convo me immediately. In most cases I will allow you to return the item. Once it is received I will issue a refund. Refunds must be requested and returned within 5 days. I care very much about making my customers happy and take customer service seriously. I will do my best to resolve any issues so please convo me so I can fix the problem rather than leaving negative feedback.

Esty Gives Back!...One dollar from every purchase will be donated to Northwest Childrens Outreach (http://www.northwestchildrensoutreach.org).NWCO is an organization that helps children and is local to the Portland/Vancouver area. They are a faith based non profit group entirely run by volunteers. Their goal is to help families who are having a hard time providing the basic neccessities for their children. They help fill the needs of these families by, providing clothing, infant care products, diapers, formula and many of the other necessities parents need for their children. Please go to their website to learn more about NWCO it is an amazing organization who has been helping children and families in need since 2001.
