Announcement   *****CURRENT PROCESSING TIME****
Many customers want to know when their order will ship. This is how my shop works:

PROCESSING TIME:

*From the day you make your purchase your order will ship in 3-5 Business Days. This is the time it takes me to fill the orders ahead of yours, make your item, package it, and take it to the post office.
For Example:
If you purchase a Sending You S'more Love kit I have to cut the paper, punch the tags, stain the tags, hand stamp each tag, cut the twine ties, count out the amount of clear bags, and then package everything together. In this case it would most likely take me the full 5 business days to process your order.

If you purchase 100 clear bags however it may only take me 2 business days to ship out your order depending on how many orders are in front of yours.

So as you can see it does take time to complete orders but I get them out as fast as I can.

SHIPPING TIME (Within the United States)
All orders ship first class mail (except in cases listed below) in the United States which according to the United States Postal Service takes between 3-5 business days to arrive. In most cases I have found it takes about 3 business days.

When Orders Ship Priority
*If you order more than one item your order will ship Priority (Unless that 2nd item is to pay for added stamping on the back of tags).

*If you order from a listing that says at the top of the description
"This Item Ships Priority In The United States"

About

Turning my passion for paper into profit for my family!

I started my shop after I realized I would never be able to hold a regular job again. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about 8 years ago and also suffer from a mixture of other autoimmune and neurological disorders. After years of not working I had to find a way to make money for my family in a way that allowed me to work from bed or the couch if I needed to. I thought Etsy might just be the answer.

I found out about Etsy a few years ago but really started to look into it about a year ago. That was when I met a woman who opened my eyes and made me realize it could be possible for me to try this Etsy thing and make it work. She made crayons in all different shapes and was running a great business on Etsy. She gave me a purple crayon in the shape of woman that night and I kept it as a reminder that it was possible to have an Etsy business and do well.

Almost a year after I met this woman I came to the realization that I would never be able to hold a regular job again and figured it was time to jump in and try Etsy. I placed my purple crayon lady on the shelf of my work area and got started.

My plan was to sell my handmade journals. I call them Eternal Journals because I want them to be journals you keep forever. I figured I would also do my stained tags and doilies just to fill up my shop while I was working on my journals. Then my tags and doilies took off! Even the cards I was making were doing well. The tags, doilies, and cards were doing so well I didn't have much time to work on my "Eternal Journals"!

So now my shop is doing pretty well and even though I haven't had much time to work on my eternal journals I love what I am doing! Making tags, doilies, cards, and journals for others is the best job ever. I take pride in creating something that will be used at a wedding, tied to a gift, or hold someone's thoughts and dreams. There is just something about a handmade item you don't get from those mass produced things.

My husband jokes about my "workshop" being the pile of craft storage boxes stacked next to our bed but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love what I am doing now and the day I got my first sale it made me feel like a productive member of society again. When I get great feedback from a customer it makes me want to make the next sale even better.

I worked as a waitress before I got sick and the one thing I loved about that job was my customers and making them happy. That's my focus with this job as well. My customers are so important to me and I want to make each one feel like they are my only order. When someone favorites my items or shop I feel like they walked into my store and I want them to know I appreciate that!

So that's it, for now anyway! Etsy has made me feel like I have a role in society again and helped me make connections with other great sellers out there. I wake up each day ready to work on orders from my wonderful customers!

Frequently asked questions

How long will it take to get my order?

There are two factors to look at when trying to figure out when your order will arrive.
1. -Processing Time- This is the time it takes me to make and package your order. If there are a lot of orders ahead of yours the processing time takes longer. If it is something I don't have to make (i.e. clear bags) the only factor here is how many orders are ahead of yours. Most of my items have a processing time of 3-5 business days.

2. -Shipping Time- This is the time it takes the post office to deliver item once I have shipped it. In General these are speeds:
Domestic Shipping:
First Class Shipping with USPS- 3-5 business days.
Priority Shipping with USPS- 2-3 business days.
Priority Express Shipping with USPS- Guaranteed 1-2 business days
