We met very naturally like two humans met before social media took over their brains. He offered me his chair at a breakfast place up at the bar and he had me. We exchanged personal information and I wrote him something dumb like, "You're cute!" later that night and he replied asking me if I was a mycologist! We have grown together since as friends, companions & in our very lovely jobs nurturing nature and creating art. Our past no longer matters, only right now and we both feel as though we were given a second chance with one another and we do not plan to waste one second of it.
