I have several quilt pins from Dori, and they are all lovely. She combines colors, patterns, and stitches perfectly. This one is truly beautiful, with stitching and ornaments that make it very special.

About

Euthymic Threads: The comfort of a quilt in a small, wearable package.

I've been selling fiber art in a brick and mortar store for about 10 years, but we weren't getting the type of traffic we used to get. I wanted to increase my independence, portability and expose my art to buyers from around the world. I started with a well-known on-line selling site, but then I discovered Etsy. I love Etsy! Etsy has so many beautiful hand-made items for sale. I am proud to be a small part of the bigger Etsy community. I lead a team for other pin brooch makers and it is fun to welcome new Etsy artists from around the world.

I am now an experienced Etsy seller but I still love the experience. There are times that I am less active and times that I am almost obsessed. That is one of the beauties of Etsy; it can ebb and flow depending on what is happening in other parts of your life. I still find Etsy fresh and interesting! So many interesting people to chat with! So many beautiful and inspiring art pieces to enjoy and purchase. As I update this, I am wearing a beautiful bracelet from an Etsy shop in the Ukraine. It took a little longer to arrive, but it is so fun and gorgeous. It is fun to think that I have connected with someone in the Ukraine as I wear this bracelet.
I just wish I had more time to create, photograph and list all of the various creative ideas I still have floating around in my head. Every time I connect with Etsy, new creative ideas come to my mind.

I am a psychologist by day and an artist by choice. I have been crafting for as long as I remember. I pretty much stick with quilting and beading, but I love to find new ways to use these mediums.

Welcome to Euthymic Threads! I'm here to enjoy creating art and to share it with you.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please convo me. I want my customers to be satisfied. I do accept returns, but I would prefer to have communication from the buyer before the item is returned. The buyer is responsible for paying the postage on returns, unless of course it is being returned due to an inadvertent mistake on my end.
Payment
I prefer paypal. If you have any questions, please let me know. I charge taxes (.051) on any items going to buyers in Wisconsin.
Shipping
Once payment has arrived I make every effort to sent out the item within 3 business days, but usually sooner. I use the USPS. Since the pins have some dimension and need to be protected, I use bubble envelopes and seek the most inexpensive mailing option available.

My postage and handling expense is mostly postage, but it also covers the cost of mailing envelopes.
Additional policies and FAQs
I accept custom orders. Each pin is one of a kind so I may not be able to create an exact replica if I no longer have a particular bead or fabric. I am happy to make multiples of items such as zipper pulls or to make an item with a specific school or team color, if this color is available. Discounts will be given for purchasing multiple items. I will charge postage for the most expensive item to mail and usually the other items can be included in the package for free.
