Our Story... Evergreen Instruments
I grew up as a musician and a craftsmen, when about 10 years ago, I put the two together and started making musical instruments. I started with flutes and drums and then stringed instruments.
I have had the opportunity to travel all around the world and live with indigenous tribes in difference nations. This has been transformational to me, to see the heart of native peoples and partner with them in lifting each other up. This has led me to do extensive research on indigenous sounds and the making of native musical instruments and I have the desire to see them redeemed and even introduced in western music.
Along this journey, I met Gladys who is now my wife! We share life together with our three kids in our home in North Carolina.
I have a shop at my home in North Carolina where I hand craft my instruments from start to finish. Check out our website below where you can learn more about what we do with our love for music, the international language.
