I’ve always had a love (and borderline obsession) with crystals and gemstones. My collection is constantly growing, and I have so many favorites.... but *this* story begins with 2 very special pieces of Mookaite..... 💖

I was buying stones to make a crystal grid for a very specific purpose.. And when I discussed it with the shop owner, she told me I absolutely needed Mookaite. An Australian Jasper, a stone that bestows strength, aides in willingness to accept change and knowing the right decision to take... but most importantly, a wonderful stone to connect and communicate with animals.

So, on August 21st, when it was time for me to say goodbye to my heart and soul..I had a Mookaite stone in each hand as I held my dog’s face and told him goodbye. One stone now rests in his ashes, and the other I wear next to my heart every day. 💖

I taught myself to wire wrap just so I could wear my stone..and ended up finding both a new passion, and a therapeutic way to cope with the grief. Now I wrap crystals almost nightly..and I weave the wires together with a smile on my face (and sometimes tears in my eyes) as I think about my best friend, my soulmate, my other half..my everlasting friend..Chance. 💜🐶💜
