Deep in the 2020 quarantine, my husband and I were doing what everyone else was. No, not watching Tiger King, starting a band! Our sound evolved from covers and silly mashups to original music, spanning all genres available to two people alone in a house with guitars, ukuleles, and a dog, and eventually our band grew to include a kickass drummer and a woodwind player! We decided that not only did we want our eventual merch tables to be stacked with the usual stickers, CD’s, and t-shirts, but with something a little extra to showcase our other talents. Enter, a line of handcrafted body care products, with the mission of spreading happy, moisturized skin to all music fans, quarantine bands, essential workers, work-from-home freelancers, and hardcore hand-washers across the US! Tested not on animals, but on nurses and veterinary technicians, all our balms and lotions are made from fair-trade and organic waxes, butters, botanicals, and oils, and our packaging is all intentionally giftable and reusable, all prepared in our smoke-free home by yours truly (a fully vaccinated essential worker and passable ukulele/bass player).
