"Collaborations with my Toddler" by Eve, Theo and Ruth Oosterman

Hello and welcome to the world of Collaborations with my Toddler!

As an artist, I had always dreamed of one day sharing my passion with my children but I could never have anticipated what happened shortly after my daughter, Eve, turned two years old.

Her interest in all things art absolutely skyrocketed and before I realized what was happening we were collaborating on art pieces. Eve would come running whenever I took out the art supplies and would sit next to me, adding what she deemed my artwork needed, soon enough my pieces became our pieces. Shortly after, she invited me to add to her artwork and from there, things took off. My artistic journey became intertwined with Eve's and I am incredibly grateful she continues to invite me into her world filled with an unbelievable imagination.

Eve is now 5 years old and her little brother Theodore just turned two and joined in on our collaborations as soon as he could hold a pencil.

In our shop, you will find prints of all the paintings from the series, "Collaborations With My Toddler." While most of them are between Eve and I, there are now a few with Theodore and even one from all three of us working together!

Our collaborations are laying a strong foundation between us three that encourages communication, teamwork, and imagination to draw us closer and build amazing and very priceless memories. Thank you for joining us on our adventures and for the continued support, we truly appreciate it.

In each collaboration, we have invested pieces of our hearts and souls that reflect the journey we are on together. Every collaboration reflects my children's personalities, their stories, feedback, and imaginations, it is in those details that the magic of each painting can be found. I use watercolor and work quickly, letting my imagination and play take root into the painting rather than taking it too seriously. This way I can encourage their contribution without making it to "grown up" or over complicated, as we adults tend to do.

Each collaboration is documented and turned into a video time lapse so you can watch the journey we take together.

Watch all the video time lapses on Youtube:

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
At the moment all prints will take between 1 - 2 weeks to be shipped out.

The reason why the shipping time takes so long is because of Eve's personal drawings that we put into each order. Convincing a toddler to sit down and draw any more than she wants in one sitting can be difficult, so we've been making them slowly. If you would prefer no drawing from Eve then we can send out your package within 1 - 3 business days instead.

The prints are packaged carefully in acid free, archival clear bags and inserted into 9 x 12 rigid mailers that do not bend. This will ensure the safety of the prints during the delivery process, if you receive any that is damaged please let me know immediately and I will make sure to rectify the situation.

There are no tracking numbers given as it would add $25 to the shipping cost per package, if this is something you require please message me and I will make a custom listing for you.
Thank you!
