Exile has been in the business of glad rags for over 30 years. Owner Lynn Harpell opened the original store in 1975 with punk, DIY, and anti-war sensibilities, along with a nod to the Rolling Stone's "Exile on Main Street."
Exile has made it's mark on the retro fashion scene with a jaw-dropping collection of 1940's, 50's, 60's ,70's,80's and 90's vintage, alongside favourite well-worn and perfectly faded Levi's jeans. Lynn and partner Frank Razzouki's twinkling treasure chests, nestled in the heart of Kensington Market, have become the premier vintage-shopping destination for celebrities, international buyers, fashion and movie stylists, and most importantly, for those who don't let the size of their bank account dictate their style.

5 out of 5 starsI love these pants. Within a week of having them they’ve become my go to pants and I’ve received so many compliments from lovely older women! There was a slight error with the measurements and the seller contacted me immediately, asking if the new measurements would fit me. Our conversation was brief and pleasant and i decided to go through with the purchase. They were a little tight at first but i stuck them in the washer and wore them wet and now they’ve adjusted to my figure like clay lol. They’re longer than im used to but the extra length doesn’t look bad at all. I’m thrilled that I bought them, easily the best flares I’ve bought to date!
