Flowering of the Heart
In the spring of 2014, I began sharing with friends the natural crystal, gemstone, and volcanic lava rock jewelry I had been creating for my mom, Frances. She needed extra love, support, and prayers while her doctors tried to find treatment that would heal her body. My journey, as her daughter, was to learn how to gift her wholeness - body, mind, and spirit. At a follow up appointment one doctor was surprised that "spontaneous healing" had occurred. Who knew that by practicing positive intentions and giving the body the natural elements & energy it needs for balance would facilitate healing? I knew. I believed. Then I witnessed it happen for my mom.
In the winter of 2017, I expressed my deepest gratitude and love for the friends who encouraged me (and pushed me hard) to share via Etsy the natural crystal, gemstone, and volcanic lava rock jewelry I created out of pure love for my mom. My gratitude is infinite because of the amount of people from all over the world that I have connected with. Your stories of hope have inspired me in immeasurable ways. Your triumphs and successes are why I do what I do.
In the summer of 2018, Expressions of Grace celebrated its 4th Birthday. That milestone wasn't without a new challenge. In April, I learned that one of my best friends, a true soul sister, had chosen to leave this Earth. My personal journey shifted into healing from this immense grief. Since experiencing how suicide changes the lives of the loved ones still on Earth and learning of the countless others whom have experienced this profound loss, a new light ignited within my heart. This light led me to create my work in sets - one piece to keep & the other to be gifted to a loved one. We must always check-in with our friends. Supporting each other is so deeply important. Every single of us matters. We are each here to live our purpose. If you need help, or someone you know needs help, reach out. We are never alone. Now it is the holiday season of 2022, and I am back from a hiatus which my soul authentically needed & I honored.
