I have been sewing since the tender age of two. I learned to quilt during college and the coiled baskets were a way to up-cycle leftover fabric from many years of quilting and fabric collecting. I especially love bright batik fabrics but I use all types and colors of fabrics, including selvage edge which many people toss.

I do several craft shows locally in the NYC area a year and I have made and sold several hundred baskets, bowls, coasters and now trivets over the years.

I also teach basket and quilt making to share my love of this art form with others.
My love for quilting evolved into becoming a long arm quilter in 2002. I really enjoy helping others finish their heirlooms.

I do offer some of my finished quilted items via Etsy and at shows. I often “rescue” vintage and antique quilt tops and finish them so they can be used and enjoyed much as I am sure the original quilter would have intended. Some of the quilts found here are also my original designs or they could be a class sample I made to teach others how to quilt.
During the Pandemic, I started making colorful, fun and functional face masks as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I sold many of them here and also donated hundreds to local hospitals, seniors and first responders.

Everything I make and finish is a labor of love and I strive to make items that will be loved and functional as well as useful to others.
