Rebecca is amazing to work with! She is insanely talented. She worked with me to design my tattoo, and she understood exactly what I was going for, even with me changing my mind several times. I love her work!
WHEN IT COMES TO ART, ITS IMPORTANT NOT TO HIDE THE MADNESS • Atticus
I am a creatrix, a painter, a gardener • Art for me is a much needed outlet, a form of grounding. I paint to relieve inner turmoils, to exorcise my personal demons, to express my spirituality, to decipher my subconscious, and as a form of self care.
I grew up in a very small Northeastern town in Florida called Yulee, conjoined to the more well-known Amelia Island. It’s sandwiched between Jacksonville Fl and Saint Mary’s Georgia. I had the best of two worlds, growing up playing in the woods daily and also regularly swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. More specifically I’m from Pirates Woods. (If you know you know).
The Florida landscape and wildlife still influences my work a lot, but I’ve also been blessed with a nomadic lifestyle. My family moves every few years to a new state across the US. I take joy in learning the folk history of places we move and somehow incorporating it into my art.
