The Beginning...
The first set of photo magnets I created were much smaller than what I currently sell in my shop. My very first set, I proudly gave them as a gift to my husband for Father's day. He absolutely loved them and displayed them at work and received many compliments and interest. After some thought and consideration, I did my research and tweaked the design to perfection. Soon after, I began giving my sweet handmade photo magnets as gifts to friends and family, they were a hit! Now I happily handcraft them just for you!

The Next Step...
I researched and tested many different magnets, all shapes and sizes, just to be sure you are getting only the best. Ultimately I chose a heavy-duty 60 mil magnet that's custom cut specifically for my photo magnets. Quality is key!!! After experimenting with numerous creative ideas and various materials, my (original) Mini P's were conceptualized. Otherwise known as FUNctional Minis. I now offer easily mailable custom magnets, slightly thinner but durable and just as sweet!

Making it happen!
In late September 2012, I opened up shop on Etsy. I absolutely love Etsy and was so excited to share my handcrafted photo magnets to the public, oh what an adventure it has been... Listening to what my customers want is a top priority, you now have the option to order original "thicker" or new "thinner" magnets that are just as awesome and easy to mail. Shipping
Your handcrafted photo magnets will be shipped to you according the size of your order. I work diligently to get orders out ahead of schedule. Naturally, larger quantity custom orders are subject to a longer turnaround time, however, I do my best to exceed your expectations.
{ Note } Shipping times may vary during the holidays. Please let me know if you need your photo magnets by a specific date.

I insure my packages depending on the size of the order. Insurance is only refunded if the package is "lost" in transit, not if it arrives later than expected.

I can't be held responsible if:
- If there are any additional taxes/fees for international orders.
- If the package takes longer than stated by the post office. I ship most of my packages USPS Priority, which usually takes 2-3 days to ship. However if there is an unexpected delay at the post office, I can't be held responsible. Unfortunately, it is out of my hands! I truly wish I could hand deliver my packages!

Created with only the best materials, your photo magnets will be sure to last! I've researched and tested many different magnets, all shapes and sizes, just to be sure you are getting only the best. I believe quality is key and I stand behind my creations 100%.

--> How to send me your images/captions:
1. Simply contact me via convo on Etsy or email me at functionalminis [!at] yahoo.com with your photo and custom text.
2. I will send you a proof and a make sure you are 100% satisfied.
3. Once approved, I will begin the process of creating your photo magnets.

--> Helpful info for shipping your photo magnets individually:
This information was provided directly by the Post office:
- 3 1/2" x 5" (inches) is the smallest legal mailing size for an envelope in the US.
- You can get a variety of envelopes, all colors & sizes, online or at Michael's, Hobby Lobby or any local craft store.

» For the smaller photo magnets, you only need one stamp to mail your sweet Mini's.
» For any larger size, it costs a total of .71 cents to ship, placed inside a larger envelope.
» You can buy (two-ounce) .71 stamps at any Post Office.

(All are costs are estimated with your photo magnet placed inside a larger mailable envelope)

NOTE: If you are planning on mailing the keepsake favors, the cost is higher and varies because of the thickness. If you want to mail your FUNctional Minis, order the (Thin Minis) / Mailable Minis.

*INTERNATIONAL BUYERS*
Your photo magnets will be mailed first class with a package ID #, not a tracking #. (If over 4lbs - They will have to be mailed PRIORITY - PO Regulations)
Shipping may take a week or two or sometimes longer, depends on where you live. I wish I could hand deliver all of my packages.
Note - I generally mark 'gift' on paperwork and generally mark a lower value.

PLEASE be aware of your country's taxes, duties and any surcharges you will be responsible for when receiving merchandise shipped from the United States. Please contact your Post Office for further information on receiving international parcels.
