Announcement   I am a maker of Handmade Felt Scarves, Garments, Accessories & Wall Art. Each piece is unique, stunning and environmentally friendly. I refer to myself an intuitive artist because I am so in awe of not only the felting process but the items I produce. I know it isn't coming from me but from a higher source - through me. I create one of a kind handmade art felt items using wonderful wools and up-cycled, recycled and re-purposed fabrics. I think of each creation is an extension of what nature has already given us! I also offer high quality crocheted hats and other goodies using wool, silk and other natural fibers. Each item is infused and with love and filled with the wonder and joy of a life spent in gratitude for everything around me.

The felting process plays with the natural behavior of wool fibers when dampened and agitated. Each piece is unique, controlled by color choice and fiber layout, but always with an element of risk and surprise. Soft, yet durable and thick, handmade felt is something you will want to hold and never let go. It‘s a tactile and visual indulgence. Felting is one of the best Eco-friendly and sustainable textile processes. It requires only soap, water and muscle. Be Eco-conscious - Wear Handmade Felt!

About

From photography to Fiber!

I was a passionate wildlife and nature photographer living in Alaska. The beauty and diversity of that majestic land provided photo ops at every moment. I loved the land, capturing images of the land, hiking and canoeing through the land... And then we moved.

I find myself in Oregon, but couldn't see the beauty because I was comparing it to Alaska. I was mourning. Photography bored me and I felt lost. The Universe responded to my pain by showing me Nuno Felting. Felting - really? Really! Once I learned what it was and studied the process there was no turning back. The creative options are UN-limited!

My eyes are again open, my muse released. I see beauty and inspiration everywhere. Thank you for joining me on this incredibly beautiful journey. We are One in Spirit!

Welcome and thank you for stopping by. I offer one of a kind felt art wearables, home decor and art pieces. The process is ancient, sustainable and environmentally friendly. I call myself an intuitive artist because I am so in awe of not only the felting process but the items I produce. They are so beautiful and I know that it isn't coming from me but from a higher source - through me. The love and joy that I feel as I create infuses itself into each item. I am so grateful that this craft found me and I am able to share this gift with others.
