For The Love of Paper

I love paper.
I love throwing parties.
I love creating my own invitations and party themes that aren't commercially available.
I love weddings.

These 4 simple things are what got me started on Etsy. First selling unique, fun and vintage inspired party goods under the shop name Faire Une Fete. But, it still wasn't quite enough. My creative side was yearning for more. This is how Sparrow Ink & Paper was born!

Classic, timeless, vintage inspired with a bit of whimsy thrown in here and there. Paper goods for life's best moments.

Welcome to Sparrow Ink & Paper. We believe invitations are the most important element of every event. They are the first impression that your guests will receive. They evoke the mood, set the tone and keep everyone wanting more.

Our invitations are created out of our love of all things vintage, classic, timeless and fun. We hope you love them as much as we do!

METHODS OF PAYMENT

We accept Etsy Direct Checkout and PayPal. If using a check via PayPal, we will have to wait for the check to clear before shipping any samples and/or starting the customization/proofing process.

ORDERS

A $150.00 deposit is required to start the process on one of our standard Wedding invitation suites. The deposit will be applied to your total balance due. The proofing process will begin after the deposit and information sheet has been received. Once the first round of proofs has been emailed to you, the deposit is non-refundable.

The final balance of your order is due in full prior to printing, assembly, and shipment. We will send you an invoice after the third and/or final proof has been approved. Upon receipt of the balance due, printing will begin.

TAXES

Oregon Residents: All residents of the state of Oregon will be charged sales tax.

International Residents: Your country may charge additional tax and duties for international shipments. As the buyer, you are responsible for these additional fees and any other charges that your country may require. We encourage you to consult your country’s tax/duty policies before placing an order. You can estimate your import duties and taxes using http://www.dutycalculator.com/.

SAMPLES

Domestic Residents: Samples ship via USPS First Class Mail within 1 - 3 business days of paid order. Please allow an additional 3 – 5 business days for transit.

International Residents: Samples ship via USPS International First Class Mail within 1 - 3 days of paid order. Please allow 10 - 30 additional business days as transit times vary greatly between countries.

INVITATION ORDERS

Domestic Residents: All of our final orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail which takes an estimated 2-3 business days in the US. All orders will be insured.

International Residents: All of our final orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail which takes an estimated time of 6-10 business days. This is not a guarantee and only an estimate. Please also be aware that this does not include time that can be spent in customs. We are not responsible for any shipping delays due to customs. Depending on the country, a package can stay in customs for several weeks or more. Please look into your countries customs policies and information before placing your order. Also, some countries charge additional tax and duties for international shipments. As the buyer, you are responsible for these additional fees and any other charges that your country may require. Because of this, we highly encourage you to order at least 6 – 8 months in advance of your wedding date.

You will receive an email sent to the address on your Etsy account confirming your order has shipped. We ship to the address on your Etsy account. If you want your item shipped to a different address, please indicate in a message on your order.

Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS/EXCHANGES

Invitation Deposit - Once the first round of proofs has been emailed to you, the deposit is non-refundable.

Completed Orders – Because of the custom nature of each order, the proofing process, and the client sign off required on the final proofs, we are unable to grant any refunds or exchanges.

Additional policies and FAQs
SAMPLES

In order to fully experience our quality, we encourage you to order one or more of our samples. All of our sample listings are for a sample of the particular invitation suite as shown in the listing picture. Sorry, we do not customize samples.

INVITATION ORDERS

STANDARD INVITATION SUITES

Complimentary customization is included when purchasing one of our standard invitation suites. Complimentary customization includes: personalizing your wording and color choice. Your order includes 3 rounds of digital PDF proofs which will be sent to the email that you provide. You will receive your first proof and each revision (if needed) within 2-3 business days (M-F) after receipt of your revision(s) to us. Any additional proof requests beyond the first 3 complimentary proofs are subject to a $10 design fee due to the extra time involved.

If you love one of our standard invitation suites but it's a little out of your budget, we can work within any budget! By simply removing a backing card, envelope liner or enclosure card we can reduce the price to fit your needs.


CUSTOM ORDERS

If you love our designs and quality but are looking for a custom invitation, please purchase a $150 custom design fee listing. This deposit will be used for design time to create your one of a kind invitation. Material and printing costs are not included; this is for design time only. Once the first round of proofs has been emailed to you, the deposit is non-refundable.

PROOFING PROCESS

Three digital proofs are included with your invitation deposit. During this time, customizations including color and wording changes will be made and finalized prior to confirmation for printing. Any changes requested beyond the first three proofs may be subject to an additional design fee of $10.00.

We are not responsible for misspellings in final approved proofs. Please be sure to triple check all wording, spelling, grammar, capitalization, etc. prior to signing off on the final proofs. We recommend that you have a friend or family member assist in the process of viewing the final proofs.

Once the proofing process is complete, the balance due is required before your order goes to printing.

Once the final proof has been approved and the remaining balance has been paid, please allow 15 - 20 business days to receive your completed order.

COORDINATING ITEMS

Additional coordinating items including Save The Dates, programs, menus, table numbers, escort cards, belly bands, stickers, and magnets can be designed to complete your wedding ensemble. Please message us for more details.

Additionally, coordinating favor boxes are available for an additional $ .75 - $2.75 dependent upon the shape and paper.

WEDDING STATIONARY MAILING GUIDELINES

According to The Knot:

Save-the- Date cards should be mailed 6 to 8 months before the wedding.

Invitations should be mailed 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding -- that gives guests plenty of time to clear their schedules and make travel arrangements if they don't live in town. If it's a destination wedding, give guests more time and send them out at least 3 months ahead of time.

Your RSVP date should be 2 to 3 weeks before your wedding date -- this will allow enough time for you to get a final head count to the caterer (one week before).
