Maybe I'm just getting old...I love old stuff. And fairies.
My shop name reveals my roots: a love of fairies. I started making little fairy dolls for my granddaughter when she was 4, when she and her mother, my daughter Jen, came to live with me for a year. I opened my Etsy shop with a few of the fairies I'd made.
Jen had introduced me to Etsy on February 13, 2008, a memorable date because it was the day Jen and I reconnected after 35 years of separation. She had an Etsy shop (current shop: LoveStruckSoul) and that was part of our getting aquainted. I opened my Etsy account that night.
Fast forward to December 2011 when I opened my own Etsy shop, starting with the fairies. Well, Jen and I both love vintage things, and while she was living here we had lots of fun outings to thrift stores where I started collecting vintage items for my shop. They've taken over my house, and I can't seem to photograph and list them fast enough. (I ship them very fast, though!)
I sell one item, and immediately after mailing it I stop by my favorite local Hospice store and find several more treasures. You see where this is going.... As Jen has often declared of her own (very busy) business, "I need a trained monkey!"
Well, lacking a trained monkey, I'd better stop writing and get back to work! Thanks for visiting my shop and taking the time to get to know a little bit about me.

I'm a Gemini, with dual loves of fairies and vintage. Native of New Orleans living in warm, sunny Florida since 1994. My three grown children include my daughter Jen (LoveStruckSoul) who introduced me to Etsy. I have three adorable grandchildren.

QUESTIONS: I take a lot of time with my photos and descriptions. If you have questions about an item, or need additional photos, please ask BEFORE placing your order.
CANCELLATIONS: If you need to cancel an order, please contact me with your reason ASAP. Once an item has shipped, a full refund is not likely unless there has been an error on my part, and I must receive the item in the condition in which it was sent before issuing a refund.
RETURNS: If you are unhappy with an item when you receive it, please contact me. I will do my best to resolve any issue to our mutual satisfaction. I accept returns if item is in the same condition in which it was sent, in which case I will refund purchase price; shipping refunds depend on circumstances. (See also: Refund Policy, below.)
My listings only give info on shipping within the U.S. (I no longer ship to international destinations.)
If your order contains multiple items from my shop I will refund shipping fees in excess of $1. (Some items have the same shipping fee for a single item and for shipping with another item. Shipping with another item may cost less than the estimate stated.)
• Orders ship within 3 business days unless otherwise noted in item listing.
• Insurance is optional unless otherwise noted in listing, in which case the cost has been included in the shipping charges.
• If you want to add insurance let me know PRIOR to ordering; I will make a custom order for you, with the shipping cost will be adjusted accordingly.
Refunds and Exchanges
*If you decide not to insure your item and it arrives damaged, replacement/refund is at my discretion.
*If you believe an item is not as described, or sustained damage due to insufficient packaging (another thing I strive never to do!) we can discuss a refund/replacement.
