This is a lovely piece and my son was quite excited that it was a devotion to his confirmation saint. The added touch of the instructions on how to pray the chaplet to St Jude and prayer cards for Confirmation were appreciated.

About

If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.

If you had told me ten years ago that I would be a Catholic, homeschooling mother of four, living in Wisconsin and making rosaries, I would likely have rolled my eyes and questioned your sanity. But fortunately for me, God's plans were bigger and better than my own.

In 2004, I met my husband-to-be, while performing in community theatre. While I had never thought much of religion growing up, he was Catholic and his faith was important to him. Therefore, it was important to me. Before we were married, I converted to Catholicism. Thanks be to God!

Several years ago, I saw a very beautiful rosary that someone had provided to be auctioned off for a Catholic school fundraiser. I don't know who made it or where it came from, but it was stunning. For some reason, although I had never dabbled in jewelry-making before (videography, cake decorating, but not jewelry-making), I thought, "I can do that." And so I did.

My first rosary was for my oldest son. It is very sad-looking (as I had no idea what I was doing), and I will have to make him another (better one) eventually. After that, I began to teach myself different methods and slowly improved.

My favorite aspect of creating rosaries is finding beautiful and unique pieces to incorporate into them. I choose beads and rosary parts based on an idea of the person who will enjoy that particular piece. I hope that everyone who finds their way to my shop finds something that speaks to them personally.

In the process of making rosaries for my shop, I have learned so much about the Saints, Prayer, and the tenets of our Faith. I did not start making rosaries because I was a devout, practicing Catholic, but making rosaries (and especially praying them) has, through the intercession of Our Blessed Mother, transformed my life and vastly deepened my faith. May the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary bring many blessings upon you and yours, as well.

And now some of my favorite quotes about the Rosary:

"If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity of your sins you shall receive a never-fading crown of glory. Even if you are on the brink of damnation, even if you have one foot in hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerers do who practise black magic, and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil, sooner or later you will be converted and will amend your life and will save your soul, if-- and mark well what I say-- if you say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until death for the purpose of knowing the truth and obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins." - St. Louis De Montfort

"Some people are so foolish that they think they can go through life without the help of the Blessed Mother. Love the Madonna and pray the rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother." - St. Padre Pio

"No one can live continually in sin and continue to say the Rosary: either they will give up sin or they will give up the Rosary" - Bishop Hugh Doyle

"Among all the devotions approved by the Church none has been so favored by so many miracles as the devotion of the Most Holy Rosary" - Pope Pius IX

And don't forget the 15 Promises Our Lady gave to those who pray the Rosary. You can find them here: http://www.ourladyswarriors.org/prayer/15promise.htm

*I believe and profess all that the holy Catholic Church teaches, believes and proclaims to be revealed by God.

Frequently asked questions

Wholesale availability

Sorry, I do not have the time or capacity to fulfill wholesale orders at this time. I do appreciate the interest.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All rosary items (i.e. rosaries, chaplets, pocket rosaries, etc.) come in an organza drawstring pouch inside a kraft pillow box tied with raffia. Necklaces also come boxed. I do not include receipts. I am happy to include a gift note: please leave me a note at checkout with your request.

Care instructions

I strongly recommend that you do not wear any of my items in the shower or swimming pool. It will greatly shorten their lifespan and likely change their appearance.

Custom and personalized orders

Due to current circumstances and time constraints, I am not accepting custom orders at this time. Customs will return in 2017.

Inquiry Response Time

I try to respond to all questions and requests within 24 hours. However, as a busy homeschooling mom of 4, it may sometimes take a bit longer. If you do not hear back within 48 hours, please feel free to message me again.
Please always contact me through the shop contact button and NOT through my personal email address. I will likely not respond to personal email inquiries, as they are often lost within oodles of junk mail.

Do you do your own metal casting/engraving?

No, sorry.

We are a military family. In honor of our military serving overseas, we offer free Priority Mail shipping to APO/FPO addresses. Use the coupon code: MILITARYSHIPFREE at checkout. This offer is available ONLY for delivery directly to APO/FPO addresses. No exceptions.
