Si has visto suficientes de estas películas, ya conoces la nieve. Cae en un cono perfecto bajo una farola. Se posa sobre los hombros de un personaje y nunca se derrite. A veces cae de lado mientras un tipo está ahí parado con un abrigo desabrochado, con aspecto de estar de lo más cómodo. Nos encanta. Nunca hemos deseado que pareciera más realista.
Ese es el espíritu de esta tienda.
Somos Megan y Wendy. Llevamos años presentando juntas un podcast semanal sobre cine, lo que significa que hemos visto una cantidad desmesurada de romances de pueblo y tenemos una opinión sobre cada uno de ellos. A una de nosotras le ha encantado este género toda la vida. La otra llegó siendo totalmente escéptica y acabó convencida. Nuestros oyentes empezaron a preguntar dónde podían comprar las cosas de las que bromeábamos, así que empezamos a fabricarlas.
La mayor parte de lo que vendemos es ropa. Sudaderas y camisetas inspiradas en pueblos ficticios, instituciones locales inventadas y detalles que solo tienen sentido si has visto la película tres veces. Todo se imprime bajo pedido.
También creamos materiales imprimibles para la temporada de películas, incluyendo un calendario con casillas de verificación que comenzó como algo que pegamos en nuestros propios refrigeradores y que luego regalamos a unos cuantos miles de oyentes.

If you've watched enough of these movies, you know the snow. It falls in a perfect cone under one streetlight. It lands on a character's shoulders and never melts. Sometimes it's coming down sideways while a guy stands there in an unbuttoned coat looking comfortable. We love it. We have never once wanted it to look more convincing.
That's the spirit of this shop.
We're Megan and Wendy. We've hosted a weekly movie podcast together for years, which means we've watched an unreasonable number of small-town romances and have opinions about every single one. One of us has loved this genre her whole life. The other showed up a full skeptic and converted completely. Our listeners started asking where they could buy the things we were joking about, so we started making them.
Most of what we sell is apparel. Sweatshirts and tees built around fictional towns, invented local institutions, and the kind of detail that only means something if you've seen the movie three times. Everything is printed to order.
We also make printables for movie season, including a schedule with checkboxes that began as something we taped to our own refrigerators and then gave away to a few thousand listeners.
