Handcrafted Leather Goods – Simple Design, Made to Last
The COVID lockdown changed many of our lives. Social life suddenly slowed down, and like many others, I found myself spending more time online. One evening on YouTube, I stumbled across a video about making a leather wallet—and it was truly love at first sight.
What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion. With every new video, the world of leathercraft fascinated me more and more, and soon a dream began to take shape: to create products that are clever, simple, and built to last. Products that are thoughtfully designed, carefully handcrafted, and meant to stay with their owners for many years.
That’s how the brand Falty was born—a name that has followed me throughout my life and now represents my craft and values.
For the past five years, I have been deeply immersed in the art of leatherworking. I taught myself the craft from the ground up, experimenting with different techniques and types of leather. The material that captured my heart the most is Pueblo leather—a truly unique leather known for its rich texture and beautiful patina that develops over time. Because of these qualities, it is highly valued by leather artisans around the world.
Design is a huge part of my process. Each product begins as an idea, which slowly evolves through sketches, digital design, and prototypes. It often takes many iterations to refine every detail, but that is where the magic happens. The reward is a final product that feels right—simple, functional, and made to age beautifully with everyday use.
Every piece is made with care, patience, and a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship.
