About

Energy and Joy of High Summer in your Home All Year

I love the vibrant color and juicy texture of oil paints straight from the tube. My subjects are fruits and vegetables from my garden and from local farms. Painted simply and directly against jewel-toned backgrounds, these vegetable "portraits" bring the energy and joy of high summer into the home year round.

Because these small images look great in clusters, I created Farm Share Studio to offer giclee prints on canvas, archival paper, and cardstock at affordable prices. I take great care to scan and print the images myself. Cards are produced from my scans at a local printer who specializes in reproducing art. The expanding collection reflects my growing passion for local food, open space and the farmers who make it all possible.

Production partners

  • Gallery 5 One

    Clifton Park, NY

Gallery 5 One is owned and operated by Mike Marino, a talented artist and digital printer. Mike represents a number of local artists and offers original paintings along with multiple sizes of giclee-printed canvas reproductions. He prints my cards.

  • Vistaprint

    Boston, MA

This online digital printing company has quick turnarounds, high quality and low cost. They allow me to print just what I need (sustainable) and offer my resistance postcards at very low prices so activists can actually use them (rather than framing them).

These small paintings look so great in clusters that I'm making affordable giclee prints available. The paintings are scanned and color corrected and then printed by me on heavyweight archival paper using the giclee process.

Please note there will be a difference between the vibrance of on-screen artwork and printed artwork. There will also be a difference in reproduction on different substrates (canvas vs. paper vs. cardstock).

To keep the prices down, my images are available in open editions.

10% of artist proceeds are donated to the American Farmland Trust: No Farms No Food campaign.
