Farmhouse Greetings is a one person business that I started back in the 1980s. My focus has always been to share my love of drawing with others through my yearly calendars and notecards. I draw what I am passionate about and I feel strongly about my home, family, my personal past, our beautiful natural world, including wildlife animals, plants and flowers, farm animals, birds, and structures built with an eye for design and integrity, ranging from bridges to wooden barns. I enjoy drawing vintage trucks, cars and tractors, and have even devoted a year to drawing trains, because they rumble past our home daily...

It usually takes me six months to draw a dozen 8 1/2"X11" pen-and-ink illustrations that become my annual calendar. I sketch mostly from photos that my friends, family or I have taken and I've tried to give reference credit in my item descriptions. I draw with a .01 Staedtler technical pen and yes, I draw straight lines with the help of a ruler! To make my calendars, I draw each month's numerals, then print my calendars in small batches of 6-12 on a monochrome, laser printer, then collate and bind each one. It takes a lot of focus to print the calendar correctly so the pages are oriented properly!

I reduce the calendar drawings to print my notecards- like Madras plaid, my cards may differ slightly in size because I cut and fold each one after it's been printed.

It's truly enjoyable to share my art with people through my notecards and calendars; I love seeing where each order comes from. I try to include a little extra in each order whether it's mini calendar or a couple random cards...

Additional policies and FAQs
Please make sure your mailing address is current...one customer messaged me she did not receive her order in a timely manner. We discovered that she had moved and never updated her ship to address on Etsy. ( in the meantime, I sent her a replacement order)
