Uzbek embroidery, along with many other arts, has an ancient history. It is a unique art of Uzbek women to turn the silk thread on the tip of the needle into intricate patterns. The art of embroidery has come to us since the 16th century and has delighted the peoples of the world, and to this day it is one of the most elegant forms of traditional handicrafts typical of Uzbek women, and is “skillful hand embroidery”. demonstrates the complexity of art. Our family is the fifth generation of this art form. Shafirkan "embroidery" embroidery art was highly demonstrated in the shopping centers of the Great Silk Road in the past centuries. The collection of Sir Barrel, who lived in the Hatton Palace in England and was in Bukhara in 1925, contains "embroidered" patterns of Shafirkan embroidery typical of the XIX-XX centuries.
Our family founded the “embroidery” Shafirkan embroidery center. At the same time we take yarns from silkworms, dye them with natural dyes, various household items, such as suzan, covers for mirrors, gold embroidery panels, pillow bags, women's and men's clothing , we make shoes and show our art to tourists who put it on display. came from many foreign countries. Thanks to this art, we have visited various exhibitions held in many countries around the world. For example, from 2014 to the present, we participate in the annual Crafts Fair in Santa Fe, USA. In addition, we have held exhibitions in countries such as Turkey, Malaysia, Italy, France, Japan, China, India.
Today, about a hundred skilled craftsmen work at our Shafirkon embroidery center. We depict this art with colors and patterns, which bring joy, peace, goodness, joy, love and happiness to our Uzbekistan, our country, our people. Where there is beauty, love always wins.
