Words cannot describe how awesome this lovely art is! We now live over 1,000 miles from home so having a unique reminder of where our roots remain is so special. The size, description and detail are exactly as described and appeared online. In person, it is even lovelier than we expected. So happy to have this grace our family room!

The picture doesn't do this piece justice! The bookshelf arrived ahead of schedule and is absolutely beautiful. Our family will enjoy this solid piece of furniture for years to come. I corresponded with Andrew throughout the process and he couldn't have been more accommodating or easy to work with on this custom design. I look forward to purchasing from this seller again.
Pallet wood. Reclaimed.
Pronounced "Fah-S" FAS Projects is nothing more than a Father And Son (FAS) who wanted to reclaim unwanted and discarded shipping pallets.
With nothing more than a fifty dollar table saw, a discount miter saw, unwavering ambition, FAS Projects was born in 2011. Transforming my father's garage into our first wood shop, it is astonishing how fast the past 6 years has gone. Through organic growth and hard work, we have been able to expand to a second wood shop, upgrade our tools and continue to deliver beautifully handcrafted wares.
We use pallet wood as our medium because it tells a story. From the railways of the 1920s, to ships of World War 2, shipping pallets have given birth to global enterprise. The character in pallet wood is something that can’t be “crafted”. Through the dings, dents, scratches, and scuffs our work truly tells a tale. Two factors led to the rise and use of pallets. The invention of the gas powered forklift in 1937 and mainly the pacific theater in World War 2. It is estimated that there are nearly 2 billion shipping pallets in the United States alone. Pallets have become so common place that nearly 80% of all US Commerce has, at one point or another, been carried on a pallet. They exist in the alleyways and factories of America.
Often times the pallets we use are discarded. Their “functional” life has ceased to exist. They’re repaired, replaced, or… found by us and transformed.
My father and I are true artisans with a passion to provide our consumers with one-of-a-kind products that cannot be find elsewhere on our planet.
