Oddball Green Critter meets sweet little Brontosaurus. I am sure the discussion involves the best place for a cup of coffee, since coffee fuels the critter creation process. :)
Binky Boo Fox loves coffee almost as much as I do. :)

About

Grown Woman Finds Perfect Way To Justify Buying That New Doll...

I've been sewing since my grandmother gave me some red and blue fabric to make my first doll when I was five years old. It was a "pancake" style doll that I made out of the red fabric, with the blue fabric as a cape. She launched my love of hand crafts.

A few years ago I picked up my knitting needles again, took a sock making class, and realized I could knit more than just scarves and blankets! While my knit wear for dolls will never match the volume of my sewing, those items will always be one of a kind.

I love collecting dolls, and have a modest collection of fashion dolls to call my own. To justify, and fund, my continued collecting, I sew clothes for them, and occasionally can part with an item or two to sell. :D

My latest love has been making little dolls, especially out of felt. Each one ends up with so much personality, and the possibilities are endless.

I love using luxury fabric and fiber wherever possilbe. My doll knits typcially are out of recycled cashmere. I have a stash of vintage trims, and several sources bookmarked where I can purchase dupioni silk. But simple cottons, and good quality wool felt are little luxuries in their own right, and still my favorites to work with.

This shop is an extension of my hobbies. I doubt I'll ever reach a point where I have hundreds of items for sale at once, but I'll definitely keep making and listing my creations as they come to life. :)

I'm a grown woman who still loves to play with dolls. To that end, I enjoy sewing and knitting for my fashion doll collection, as well as sewing up one of a kind dolls.
