    About

I am a maker of beautiful things. Most things in my weaving and pieces of art are collected on my farm or in our surrounding area. If not completely local, they were collected on my random adventures!
My sheep and goats live in an natural environment in Northern California. They live with 2 maremma livestock guardian dogs to keep them safe from predators. They graze in their pasture most of the year and do not wear covers, so their wool starts out with a fair amount of vegetation. I send my raw fleeces to our local mill to be washed clean, picked of vegetable matter and carded into soft and fluffy roving. You can be assured the vegetable matter left will be very slight but most of my roving does still have some remaining. By using our local mill we are able to be part of our local Northern California Fibershed. http:/Fibershed.com
Our Angora goats are the sweetest and funniest addition to our farm! Their mohair is truly beautiful and is just amazing for its softness and shine! This fiber is amazing when mixed with other fibers as well!
Our sheep are sheared in the spring and our goats are sheared in spring and fall so we tend to have raw fleeces around as well. Just contact me if your interested.
My weaving and handspun yarn tends to be listed at the mercy of my children and farm creatures! Knitted items are all listed as soon as I can finish them!!
