About

Unique patterns, products, and media!

I wanted to create unique works of art--things that are beautiful, but functional, as well. Making these things for myself wasn't the greatest fun after a while, so I decided that I would share them with the world.

I design and create everything available in my shop, and many things that aren't. I'm an artist but seem to be an aspiring engineer--my projects simply must end up with more complexity than I expect in the beginning!

Shop policies

Last updated on March 18, 2016
Custom items like mine are involved, labor-intensive processes. Some of them--custom portraits, for example--are quite collaborative processes, and require the customer's participation. Everyone's schedule is different, but the customer's feedback frequency can have a real impact on completion time. When discussing the details of a project, please let me know in advance how often you are generally available to respond; the more harmonious our schedules, the smoother your project progresses (and the more accurately I can estimate a completion date).

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Buy with Apple Pay
  • Pay with Sofort
  • Pay with iDeal
  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Items will not be shipped until full payment is received.

Certain custom items are separated into 2 payments. PAYMENT 1: Half of total labor (includes pattern, crochet, and mounting fee). PAYMENT 2: Half of total labor; materials*; shipping*; overtime fee^*

* Determined after completion of project.

^ Overtime fee is ONLY applied if the project is completed more than 1 week after the original estimated completion date, and is charged per extra week (7 calendar days). Days 1 through 6 qualify as 1 week. The fee may apply to all custom projects that extend beyond their estimated completion date.
Refunds and Exchanges
Patterns are nonrefundable if they have been downloaded. If you have any concerns with your pattern purchase, please contact me BEFORE you download anything.

PAYMENT 1 of Custom Projects is not refundable. PAYMENT 2 is refundable only until the item is shipped.
Additional policies and FAQs
In the interest of keeping on schedule and avoiding the Overtime Fee, each completed face in a custom portrait gets one rework.

When discussing your custom artwork, please advise me of your availability to respond to emails (daily, 1-2 times/week, etc). This will help me accurately estimate a completion date.
