We’re beginning the process of winding down Fetch the Sun after seven wonderful years in business. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but ongoing health challenges and rising production and shipping costs have made it no longer sustainable for us to continue operating at the level we believe our customers deserve.
Located in San Diego, California, Fetch the Sun was born from a simple idea: we couldn’t find stylish, adventure-ready clothing for both humans and dogs, so we decided to create it ourselves. What started as a passion project grew into a small family-run brand dedicated to designing matching apparel that celebrates life with our four-legged best friends.
At Fetch the Sun, we’ve always believed dogs make every adventure better. Our goal has been to encourage more time outdoors—whether hiking, camping, beach days, or neighborhood walks—through comfortable, thoughtfully designed gear for both pups and their people.
This journey was deeply personal to us, and we’ve been incredibly fortunate to build such a kind and supportive Etsy community along the way. We’ve loved connecting with fellow dog lovers and seeing our designs become part of your adventures.
Fetch the Sun was founded by husband and wife Steve and Jennifer, along with our dogs Snoopy & Lucy, who have been part of the inspiration from the very beginning.
We’ve also been committed to giving back, supporting animal shelters through monthly donations since 2019. This mission has always been a meaningful part of our work, and something we are very proud of.
While this chapter is coming to a close, we are deeply grateful for everyone who has supported us over the years. Thank you for six unforgettable years of Fetch the Sun.
