I hold a degree in fashion merchandising and design. I worked and lived in NYC for many years as a professional model, freelance pattern maker and designed under my own label.

I am extremely passionate about supporting other artists and teaching the heritage of Fiber Art to younger generations. I taught Montessori Fiber Art and continue to give classes in my home studio. I am constantly seeking art retreats when life allows.

Why the name Fiber Bungalow?
My husband and I restored a 1940s bungalow many years ago to "flip" but after the restoration I couldn't bear to part with the house. After a creative brainstorm, I decided to furnish the property and rent it as a vacation home. When the property wasn't rented, I offered a variety of art classes including fiber art. I would buy wool from a local sheep farm for my felting classes and the cleaning process is quite an intensive labor of love which I would do in the yard at the bungalow. All of my sample rugs that I made for my felting classes quickly found a home in every room at the bungalow. My little Fiber Bungalow quickly earned it's name in the neighborhood and from vacation guests. It was a great creative space for me and other artists. We have since sold my Fiber Bungalow but her handcrafted furnishings and creative energy now live in my home studio over my garage. : )
