Home of the Lap Thing and Carder Keeper - Handmade tools and fun jewelry with the fiber artist in mind.
Fiber Catcher was created by Seattle, WA artist Natasha Puffer. I wanted specific tools for my fiber art which had specific features that I just couldn't find anyplace else so naturally I decided to make them myself.
Please visit my profile http://www.etsy.com/people/FiberCatcher for more information. Convo me if you have any questions or want details on ordering a custom fabric for your FiberCatcher Lap Thing!

5 out of 5 starsI love these! They make fabulous gifts for the spinner who thinks they have everything. Fabrics are fun, the pockets are wonderful. And I really love that there is a black side and a white side…..so you can see any color or shade of fibers!

5 out of 5 starsThis is my second lap thing!my other is still going strong after years of heavy use (I even flick locks on it!) I wanted a second for my zuca bag & e-spinner so I can leave the other with my CPW in the wool basket.

5 out of 5 starsIt fits my Ashford cards perfectly, though less so on the Strauch, Schacht and Louets. It was beautifully packaged, and the bonus folding lint brush, which works great at cleaning the fibers off the spinning lap cloth is most appreciated. Seller indicated that shipment would be a little delayed, which was nice of her.

5 out of 5 starsFits the Ashford flicker nicely. Was beautifully packaged, like a birthday gift, and there was a little something extra (folding lint brush, which is great for removing fiber from the spinning lap apron) included. Seller communicated that shipping would be delayed, and this was appreciated.
