Announcement   Welcome to Fine Art Studios. I am a professional artist who has been in the business for over 30 years. My paintings are held in collections in the United State and internationally.

I have 3 styles of paintings. My oil paintings are painted in a classical way with the finest grade of oil paints and canvas. My acrylic paints are usually done on paper. They are done in a more contemporary style starting with an abstract underpainting and building on this to develop the painting. The 3rd style are my trompe l'oeil paintings done in both oil and acrylic. These pieces take months to complete, and I only do a few a year. Trompe L'oeil pieces are labor intensive, and therefore, more expensive than the other two styles.

If you live in the Washington, D.C. area, you can save on shipping by picking your painting up at my studio located at:

Stifel and Capra
260 West Broad St.
Falls Church, VA.

Hours: Monday - Saturday 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays noon to 5pm.

This item was purchased as a gift. On very short notice the shop owner arranged for the giclee to be framed, wrapped and delivered to the recipient in time for her graduation. This was all accomplished within a few days time. The new graduate is thrilled with the painting, and I'm grateful to Jane for her talent and her amazing customer service.

Refunds and Exchanges
I do not sell paintings "upon approval". Mywork is very afforable and I work hard to have clear photos of my work. Selling paintings "on approval" causes the artist to lose money on packing and shipping supplies and listing and selling fees. Then I would have to re-list and pay reselling fees. This would add significant time and I would have to raise my prices to cover these cost. To keep my prices low, please make sure you love the painting before you purchase it.
