Announcement   Thank you for your support! We offer organic goods produced on our 100 acre wood nestled in the foothills of the North Cascades. All proceeds from this purchase will fund a very special project. Our non-profit farm grows, harvests, processes, packages, and distributes packages of organic, open pollinated, heirloom seeds at no charge. We offer them to schools, food banks, community garden projects, low income households, and other organizations. We typically give away 8000 packages of seed each year.

We want more people to grow their own food. We want organizations to help people learn to grow food and provide garden space for people who have none. We want heirloom varieties to be preserved, and to encourage species diversity for the health of our planet and people. This project is funded primarily through the contributions of 4 farm members-this need is growing and we simply do not have the funds to expand this program. Your purchase will go directly to the seed distribution fund, and more people will grow food because of your generosity. We will also include a small card highlighting our project. Please feel free to visit our website at www.finneyfarm.org for more information.

Although this shop is new, several of our members have well established private Etsy shops. Please visit www.yarnarchy.etsy.com or www.downtoearthwoodworks.etsy.com to see reviews.

Received my package today.. earlier then expected and all the bulbs are in great condition (more bulbs then expected too)... the smell from the bag was amazing!! And the gift of sunflower seeds was a very pleasent surprise, already planning on getting them started indoors till we can transplant them in the spring. Thank you for the great customer service and wonderful products!

Doesn't look like photo. Poorly packaged. Brown and falling apart. Definitely not worth $34 and definitely not good enough to give as a gift.

About

Finney Farm grows seed to give away for free!

Thank you for your support! We offer organic goods produced on our 100 acre wood nestled in the foothills of the North Cascades. All proceeds from this purchase will fund a very special project. We began giving away our seed about 10 years ago. We started with a few hundred packages and our seed distro has grown beyond our wildest dreams! Food bank recipients are specific in their feedback--they are typically unable to afford more expensive organic seed and often resort to cheap "Walmart" seed that they know has been raised with chemical and normally contains hybrids (which are unable to be saved). They express gratitude at being able to access organic seed which may be saved each year, allowing them to become more self-reliant and increase their food access and household resiliency.

We want more people to grow their own food. We want organizations to help people learn to grow food and provide garden space for people who have none.
