About

Melting Meditation

I have been blowing glass since 2011 with my husband Turtle, who is a 15 year veteran of the trade. When we first met in 2010 I had never seen lampworking being done and I was immediately enthralled. The process of melting glass into a liquid state to shape it and transform it is so mesmerizing and exciting! Each piece really is a meditation because it requires my full attention, and any stress I may be holding is immediately revealed in the work as cracks or full on meltdowns. I do my best work when I am calm and centered and focused on pouring blessings into each piece.
My Indigenous heritage has been my biggest inspiration, because I want to share the benefits of ritual ceremony with the world. The Peace Pipe is not only a symbol of inner harmony but also a tool for bringing our attention to the present moment and choosing to live in a good way, which is why it is my signature design. I love the work I get to do, and I am so grateful for the support of the global community that allows me to do it.
In July 2015 I won my first competitions in Las Vegas at CHAMPS Summer glass games. I placed third in a solo event themed Ancient Artifact with a Red Tail Hawk smudge fan, and first place in a collaborative event with fellow shop mate and friend Sarita (on Etsy as FullMoonGlass) and veteran dame of the flame Tammy Baller. Shortly after that I was the featured artist in High Times Magazine. I was the first Pregnant competitor in the CHAMPS Masters Flame off, and when I was 39 weeks into my pregnancy I won first place in a local competition. With the arrival of our sweet son Eden life continues getting better! I'm so happy to share my work with you. May your prayers rise strong in the smoke.

I live and work happily in sunny Southern Oregon . The love of my life happens to be a National champion of glass blowing and we dance side by side in the flame almost every day. I've been on the torch for two years and look forward to many more!

Welcome to my gallery! Quick disclaimer: these pipes are for tobacco and for those who are 18 and older. I am thrilled to share my native inspired functional art glass with you. My goal is to create work that inspires you to honor your tobacco ceremony in a new way. I work hard to create durable designs that are beautiful, meaningful, and of course functional. I love what I do and I hope you find a connection with my pieces.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
I accept most forms of payment, excluding Paypal due to their no pipes policy. Orders paid by money order will not begin production until payment arrives.
Shipping
You can expect to receive a message with your tracking number the moment your item ships so there is never any guess work. Occasionally unexpected material shortages do occur, but generally there is a 1-2 week turn around time on made to order items. One of a kind items are ready to ship in 1-3 business days. Not responsible for items once they leave my possession. Due to the variance in international policy regarding tobacco pipes, shipping is only available to the United States.
Refunds and Exchanges
Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placing the order for a full refund. After that a partial refund will be available minus the cost of materials. Please include the reason you are requesting an order cancellation in case there are accommodations that might be made to make it work for you. If your piece arrives damaged you have one week to notify me including a picture of the unused piece. If it can be fixed I will refund your shipping cost to send it back and I will repair the piece if I am able.
