Uniquely handbound and lovingly crafted

MISSION

Fireball Bookbindery produces books, hand-pulled prints, stationery, and finely crafted products. I specialize in making uniquely handbound and lovingly crafted journals inspired by Asian materials, designs, and bookbindings for the Asian American community.

In Chinese mythology, the image of the dragon chasing a flaming pearl--the fireball--represents an eternal chase for knowledge and wisdom. I believe that this is what humans desire when we put pen to paper. What we leave behind on paper after we pass is knowledge that is passed onto the next generation. Fireball Bookbindery is an opportunity for me to craft unique, handmade products that value a high level of craftsmanship, encourages creativity and the documentation of knowledge, and celebrates Asian American design in our modern life.

VALUES

Fireball Bookbindery believes in supporting healthy communities and the environment. As such, I am committed to being a Proud Supporter of the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and donate a portion of proceeds from every product in my Bee Love line to supporting the research and conservation efforts of invertebrates. I also believe that in order to create and maintain healthy communities, we must support the arts, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through education, amplification, and participation. I am committed to this through individual and collaborative efforts, social media and online platforms, and providing classes and workshops.
