Returns and exchange details
We DO NOT accept exchanges or returns as every item is custom. You can return it at your own expense - but we are going to toss it as we have not use for it. If you have a problem with your product SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS.

We DO accept cancellations - although a fee may apply. SEE BELOW PLEASE FOR DETAILS.

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, call or email and let us know why. We will work to resolve any issues.

If we provide a layout or proof, and the description of the product says you must review the layout or proof prior to engraving, we will send the layout or proof to the email in the order. We will try a minimum of 3 attempts to get a response. After failed attempts to contact the buyer, we will create the product and ship it. If there is an error when the product is received we will not refund the cost. The layout or proof is sent so that the buyer knows exactly what they are getting prior to engraving. It also allows the buyer to request changes or corrections to the design prior to production.

If we provide a layout proof and it is approved by the buyer (especially for Plaques) and the final product contains an error after the layout is approved by the buyer, we will not refund the cost. We will, at the same cost as the original cost, create the product again at the buyer's request. We will also consider the situation and circumstances (each is different) - and if warranted we may ask you for only a portion of the original cost for replacement.

If a product is ordered and engraved and the buyer requests to cancel the order, we will not refund the cost. If the product is ordered and we have created the design / proof, we will not refund the full cost. A minimum $15.00 will still be charged for the time spent creating and / or emailing the proof and the additional order processing and accounting changes required to cancel your order. It is time consuming.

If there is an error or defect in the product when you receive it - we will review the reported problem and if a determination is made that the fault belongs with Firefly, we will either replace the product free of charge or provide a full refund as requested.

If there is damage to a product during shipping - we will ask you for a photo so that we may review the damage. We may or may not file the claim with USPS - just depending on the product and the extent of the damage. If the damage is severe and warrants replacement - we will replace the product at no cost to you - although we may ask the client to pay the shipping.

If a product is lost during shipping - we will file a lost package report with the USPS. We cannot file that report until the product has been lost of a minimum of 7 days. If the USPS cannot locate the package - we will replace it at no cost to you - although we may ask you to pay the shipping. If product says delivered in tracking and you did not receive it - we ask that you first contact your local branch of the PO, neighbors, family members, look around you box, home, porch, etc., and make every effort to locate the product prior to contacting us. Once all options have been exhausted, please contact us with your findings. We will most likely replace the product at not cost to you - although we may ask you to pay the shipping.

On occasion, we may need to substitute a product with a product that is comparable in price, quality, and likeness. It happens that our vendors will run out of items on occasion. Were we to need to substitute - you will receive a product comparable or better than the ordered product.

Our main goal is to ensure our clients are pleased with our products and services.

What is Standard Production versus Rush Production?

Almost all of our products are customized to each client's preference and many require layout approval prior to production. This process takes time.

STANDARD PRODUCTION time is between 4-10 business days and then the order will ship either 1st class, parcel, or USPS priority - depending on options. If you receive a layout for your order, time will start as soon as you approve the layout.

RUSH PRODUCTION time is 3 or less business days then shipped USPS Priority (2-4 day). Additional fees apply. USPS 2-4 day priority shipping is the fastest we ship.

ONE DAY PRODUCTION TURN AROUND also available in some cases for an additional $35.00 fee - Inquire first.

How do I know if I need to order rush production instead of standard?

You can check with us prior to placing your order if you are unsure and we will let you know based on the current workload. We handle all standard orders on a first come, first serve basis. Rush production orders go to the front of the line.

The description says I'll receive a layout/proof - where is it?

We send all layouts/proofs to the email address in your order. If the description says you'll receive a layout and you have not received it within a couple days of your order, make sure you check your junk or spam folder. It is probably there. If not - please contact us and let us know. We will send you another copy.

All frames, plaques, and project markers require you review and approve a proof. If you order something we don't normally provide a layout for and would like one - just let us know, and we can send one.

What happens if I decide not to review my proof and not answer the email?

We will attempt to contact you several times via email and conversation. Proofs are beneficial to both you and us. We are human and can occasionally make mistakes (as do our clients). Proofs are SNAPSHOTS OF EXACTLY WHAT WILL BE ENGRAVED.

If you fail to approve a layout/proof and receive a product with an error (regardless of the source of the error), we will not refund the cost. A replacement can be created at the same cost as the original. Damaged or defective products will be reviewed and if determined it needs to be replaced - it will be replaced at no cost to the client.

Will the "Officially Licensed" red ribbon and sticker be included with or on my product?

The ribbon on our photos is just an image to display the "Officially Licensed" seal of BSA. It is not printed on or included with your product. That's why we include a second product photo without the "Officially Licensed" image. BSA requires all licensees to include the "Officially Licensed" Corporate Trademark on their sites and we just thought it looked better this way. There isn't a lot of room to display photos on line and we were being creative with the ribbon.

What if my order is delayed even though I've ordered Rush Production?

We guarantee rush production orders will be complete and shipped within 3 business or we will contact you with details. Once into shipping - it is up to the USPS to get it to you from there. We unfortunately have no control over USPS. If your product is delayed due to the carrier - there isn't much we can do other than file a "lost package" report. USPS only guarantees Express Overnight or Express 2 Day shipping which we do not offer because of the very high cost.

I ordered Rush Production but the Complete Date still shows 10 business days.

We apologize for this issue. Our Rush Production option is located in the shipping section and the Etsy App does not adjust the date properly when Rush Production is selected.
You can rest assured - if you have ordered rush production, your item will ship within 3 business days or less or we will contact you to explain why it will not.

Your shipping seems high - why is that?

We also have a handling fee built into our shipping. It isn't much as shipping is very expensive these days. Truth is - we sometimes lose money on shipping. For example, it costs between $18.00 and $26.00 to ship an 8 x 10 frame to CA. If ordering from a state that has high shipping rates - you may be asked to pay an additional fee on top of what you have already ordered.

Our handling fee goes towards peanuts, packing paper, labels, packages/boxes, etc., so that we can ensure your items are properly packed to avoid damage in shipping.

Can I add my phone number to the order in case you need to contact me?

Absolutely! We do not do anything with your information other than fill the order. We encourage buyers to add a backup email address or phone number - just in case we are unsure about something in your order. We'd much rather be able to contact you than delay your order until you contact us.

What if I cancel my order and you have already started it?

We are a custom shop - almost every product we sell is customized. Once we create a layout or proof for your product, we will continue to work with you until you are happy with the layout. If you cancel your order after a proof has been created, we will still charge a minimum of $15.00 for the layout of design and email, and then the additional order processing and accounting changes required to cancel your order. It is time consuming. You will receive a cancellation email and a partial refund email upon canceling your order.

If we have already engraved your order and you decide to cancel - you will still be charged full price and not receive a refund. We will ship the order to you as originally planned. It belongs to you.
