Hi, I’m Matt, the founder of First Impression Scents – where luxury, long-lasting scents transform spaces.

My journey with fragrance began years ago when I worked for a local scent service company. I loved helping businesses and property managers create inviting atmospheres that made people feel welcome the moment they walked through the door. Then, unexpectedly, that company closed its doors. Instead of seeing it as an ending, I saw an opportunity to build something even better.

I launched my own scent service with a focus on apartments, hotels, and commercial spaces. I carefully curated premium scent oils and reliable diffusion machines that could handle high-traffic environments while still feeling luxurious and subtle. Word spread quickly. Apartment managers, hotel guests, and visitors kept stopping me to ask the same questions:

“Where can I get this scent for my own home?”

“Can I buy the machine?”

“What is that incredible smell?”

Those compliments and requests became impossible to ignore. Guests were falling in love with the scents and wanted to bring that feeling home with them. So, in March 2026, I opened First Impression Scents on Etsy so everyone could experience these professional-grade scents and diffusers in their own spaces.

Today, I’m proud to offer the same high-quality scent oils and diffusion systems that impressed so many property managers and hotel guests—now available directly to you. Whether you want a signature scent for your apartment, a relaxing aroma for your bedroom, or a fresh, welcoming fragrance for your living room, my goal is simple: to help you create spaces that feel truly yours.

Every order is handled with care, and I’m always here if you have questions about which scent pairs best with your home or how to get the most out of your diffuser. Thank you for being part of this journey—from corporate scent services to your personal collection.

I can’t wait to help you fill your space with something beautiful.
