Midnight Musings of Creativity.

It all started when I had my two boys very close together in age. I found that the only time I had to 'escape' to my own company was late at night after my husband and the boys were in bed.
Being an artist I would spend my time on creative activities such as sketching, designing ideas for ceramic pieces and constructing Islamic patterns. However with lack of studio space I often found my ceramic creations with tiny hand prints on them or end up being used as a place to hang clothes on. Frustrated by this situation I turned my attentions to wearable art instead.

I have a day job working in a primary school and foreign students staying with us so work is never ending but as the house falls to sleep I find the head-space and time to work on some wearable art pieces. One particular interest of mine is working with recycled materials and I will be posting some of these pieces as I create them over the next few months.

Welcome to my shop. I am a qualified artist, originally from the Caribbean, and now live and work in Oxford. I create bespoke pieces of art jewellery for that special occasion and for everyday flair.
Each piece is unique in its design and execution and often reflects my love of colour, pattern and symbolism. Many of the beads I handcraft from polymer clay, and both the wirework and metal smithing are executed to a high degree of finish and quality.
