About

The Flaming June Story

Flaming June Vintage is the result of my lifelong love affair with vintage fashion.

I spent the days of my youth climbing trees, swinging from grapevines, and proving to the neighborhood boys I could throw a football farther and run a little faster. I was a 'tomboy' for sure, but my girly imagination came to life in my Grandmother's closet. There she housed an entire retrospective of women's fashion. Stoles and cloches from the 30's, tailored suits from the 40's, bombshell and cocktail dresses from the 50's, mod shifts and a-lines from the 60's, bohemian caftans and suedes from the 70's, and labeled designer wear from the conservative 80's. I dressed myself in her too-high pointy-toed heels, pill box hats, layers of pearls and studied the garment construction, fabrics and knits of bygone eras.

Flaming June partners my love of vintage fashion with my commitment to the environment and a more sustainable future. Reusing existing goods and checking out of mass consumerism is a great way to contribute. I hope you will find here a thoughtfully curated collection of eclectic one-of-a-kind pieces, unique styles and timeless classics that represent my philosophy. Good design is good design... so wear what you love!

Shipping
I am committed to sustainability and give much of my time volunteering with local non-profits with the same values. For this reason, I recycle and reuse shipping materials whenever possible. I also prefer USPS as my postal carrier is already walking by Monday through Saturday. If this is not your preferred shipping method, or you would like to upgrade, please convo me to make other arrangements. I make every attempt to ship purchases within 48 hours of cleared payment.
Refunds and Exchanges
Flaming June items are vintage and should therefore be considered previously worn or gently used unless otherwise noted. All items are offered and sold 'as is' and therefore, I offer no warranty and returns are not accepted. However, if you feel I have grossly misrepresented an item, please contact me within 72 hours of shipment receipt so we can discuss resolution. A return/refund will require prior authorization.

Should such a case arise and return/refund is the agreed-upon resolution, original purchase price will be refunded less shipping and a 10% restocking fee upon receipt of the returned unused/unworn item. Return shipping is at customer's expense. Please read item description and check measurements carefully before your purchase.
