This was so elegant I sent it to my daughter. Thank you so much!
Making cozy quilts for the body and soul.
Creativity started at a very young age, for me. I remember watching my mother meticulously hand stitch pieces of fabric together to create quilts that were not only functional, but also quite beautiful to look at. She taught me how to make quilts for my dolls, which grew into quilts for my own bed. She followed a more traditional hand-piecing approach, while I took each project to new heights with unusual color schemes and more modern patterns. We have both fed off each others' creativity and to this day share our dreams and aspirations for the projects ahead.
As I grew up, my artistic interests flourished. Throughout high school, I learned the technicalities of painting and married quilts with paint on several occasions. I also learned the importance of color-play, and since then, have created very personal works of art that have become my labor of love.
Since recently having my son, I have focused more on creating cuddly and durable items for him to enjoy. That got me thinking about using my talents (and my spare time) to create quality quilts for little ones. I think all children should have that special blankie they can feel safe and warm in that will last their lifetime. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed making it!
Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator
The best way to know me is from my simple pleasures. I love how my feet feel after a walk on the beach and the smell of hand dyed fabrics from Bali. All things miniature have a special place in my heart and the brightest of colors makes me happy.

I'm glad you asked! I get all my artsy supplies from local shops and markets. My favorite quilt shops are the Center Diamond in Cannon Beach, OR, the Stitchin' Post in Sisters, OR, and the Orange Quilt Bee in Orange, CA.
Are you a professional quilter?
I am a very very very modest person and do not see myself as a "professional". However, I have sold many quilts over the years through local shops and I strive for perfection with each project. I see each quilt more as a labor of love than a profit.
Do you do custom orders?
If you have a certain color scheme or theme in mind, please message me and I'd love to work with you!
