NOW SHIPPING NATIONWIDE. (Starting in April, 2011)

Welcome to my store. In January 2010, I moved into a 2500 sq. ft. showroom & workshop in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Since then I have been working 7-days-a-week to try to keep up with NW Florida orders and those orders from Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana and Texas.

May 24, 2010 - Interviewed by a writer for CABIN LIFE MAGAZINE. They featured one of my tall chairs in their October issue and orders started coming in nationally. You can go to www.cabinlife.com to see what an issue looks like. GREAT MAGAZINE !

I now have had double-walled boxes designed specifically for my furniture and will be starting to process orders nationally in April 2011. I have already started sending out shipping quotes.

For complete price lists for furniture, send an e-mail or call. For shipping charges, I will need your address or just your zip code and pieces you are interested in purchasing.

Most of my furniture is made out of thick (5/4") cypress - same thickness as deck boards. The stains that I use are either Sikkens Cetol SRD (1 coat) or Sikkens Cetol 1 (3 coats). It takes several weeks for these stains to finish curing in my climate. For Sikkens stain info. (including colors), go to www.nam.sikkens.com. Then ..... Exterior, Translucent, Cetol SRD (or) Cetol 1. Painting is another option ..... I use Benjamin Moore products.

In 2010, I started a whole new line of furniture that includes recycled fences, docks and decks. The fence boards can be stained or left plain. All of the edges are routered and sanded leaving no splinters or sharp edges. See my "Go Green Collection" for pictures and descriptions.

Best Seller ... Ideas like the tall deck chairs come with living on the water in NW Florida. Since many houses and condos have railings on the porches, these chairs allow you to see "over the rail" instead of staring right at the railing in regular height seating.

The potting table designs are unique using old window frames, garden gate hardware, arches and picket fences. People have been using them next to the grill as prep/serving tables, on porches for all kinds of collections and in businesses as display shelves for the things they sell ... jewelry-clothes-hats-purses-etc. I now am making display units out of fence boards.

Perhaps my favorites are designing tables, benches and ottomans so they coordinate with the other pieces. I now have a "wine table design" for the tall tables.

The first complements I get are from the people who sit in the chairs and are amazed how comfortable they are even without any pillows. The second complements I get are from the people who have purchased a set and get to "brag" to their friends that the chairs were handmade "just for them".

Most of my sales are at shows & festivals (Pensacola to Seaside to Rosemary Beach, FL) where I take orders. Since I have opened my showroom, I now have visitors daily.
