Paper, cards and fluffy ducks

I love paper! When shopping as a child I loved going to the stationery department... The feel of the erasers, the smell of wooden pencils and all those lovely, crisp, reams of paper! So it was no real surprise when the card making kit given to me as a birthday present, triggered the start of a passionate hobby.

The thing I loved about card making, was being able to give my friends and family personalised cards. You'd never be able to find a 'Happy 27th Birthday Richie' card in a highstreet shop, but by making the cards myself I was able to send unique personalised cards to all the special people in my life.

So it wasn't long before my friends and family started asking me to make special cards for them. And then I wondered if the great big internet world would find value in my designs. It was pretty daunting, but with the help of Etsy and my nephew's yellow fluffy duckling toy, Fluffyduck Cards was born.

Twelve years later, and I've had 1000s of sales on 4 different continents, lots of awesomely romantic card commissions, several extra special wedding orders and some pretty amazing reviews from customers - which makes it all worth while.

My ethos is simple; use the highest quality materials and a touch of personalisation to create a very special card for those very special people in your life.

Custom and personalised orders

Most of my cards can be created in alternative colours or personalised, just request a custom order or send me a message. I am also happy to design and make cards from your ideas.

UK shipping options

Royal Mail 2nd Class (arrives 2-3 working days after dispatch) - FREE
Royal Mail 1st Class (arrives 1-2 working days after dispatch) - £0.50
Royal Mail Special Delivery (arrives next working day after dispatch) - From £5.99

Estimated delivery times do not include the time it takes to make your item. In most cases, items are dispatched 1-3 working days after ordering. If you upgrade to Special Delivery I will endeavour to dispatch the next day.

International shipping upgrades

A tracked and insured shipping upgrade is available. This will not speed up shipping times, but will allow you to track your item. A signature will be required on delivery.


All cards are packaged in board backed envelopes to prevent them from being damaged in the post. Boxed card sets are sent in bubble wrap envelopes. Bulk wedding orders will be sent in cardboard mailing boxes.

Expedited service

If you need your item before the estimated processing and delivery times, then I may be able to offer an expedited service. Availability depends on my current workload. In all circumstances, drop me a message prior to ordering.

Running short on time? I can send cards direct to the recipient. Just let me know the message you would like printed or handwritten inside, and the address to send it to.

Delayed and lost items

Please allow the following times before chasing an order:

UK - 15 working days after dispatch.
Europe - allow 20 working days after dispatch.
Rest of World - allow 25 working days after dispatch.

In all cases, please check the address you have on file on Etsy, as this is the address that items are dispatched to. Unfortunately I can not issue a refund if the address is incorrect.

If items have not arrived in this time I will issue a full refund and pursue a claim with Royal Mail. This will require you to confirm that the order was not received, and confirm your address and order details.

All claims for lost items must be made within 60 days of purchase.

Bulk orders and wedding stationery

If you wish to place a bulk order, please contact me as early as possible with the following details.

1. Item name/description
2. Number required.
3. Date required by.
4. Country items will be shipped to.
5. Whether you will require the item to be personalised.

I will then be able to provide you with a quote and estimated processing time.

Please note, not all items may be available to purchase in bulk.

17th Dec: UK Standard Delivery
19th Dec: UK 1st class delivery and special delivery

Please be advised that during this incredibly busy Christmas period, orders are usually taking 3 working days to dispatch. Please also allow for extended delivery times on top of this - if you are in a rush, please contact me before ordering!
