Rough Cut Threads

Announcement    ***out of town from February 15-25th*** All saws will be shipped Feb 26th****

Hello. Welcome to my little shop on the internet. Here is a little about my shop and myself:

I work in small batches. I’m not here to mass produce, mainly because for me, mass production sucks the life force out of my creativity.

I choose high quality fabrics that inspire me and make me happy.

I have been sewing since 2005, when I took a year long sewing class in high school. It was an extremely fun and informative class that gave me skills and an opportunity to express myself creatively. I’ve always been the type to break the rules before I learn the rules—which to some may be seen as rebellious, but I have found that over the years--when channeled--it has become a strength. One that allows me to be brave enough to think and see things differently and to create things that are slightly ‘out of the box’.

I try to use secondhand fabrics as often as I can, this creates not only a more unique product but also helps the environment a bit at the same time.

Please enjoy what I have made as I always have quality and style in mind.

If you have any problems, please seek me out so we can address any issues together.
Thank you!

Katie Silveira.

I can't help but create. And I don't like to keep myself pinned down to one thing, so I create across multiple mediums. But one thing I do like to do, is get deep into a craft until I can produce high-quality pieces.
