Beautiful craftsmanship! It looks great above my little one's crib, who should be arriving any day now. Such a unique piece! Thank you!

Exactly what I was looking for to add a touch of spring to my living room. Sara was super easy to work with and kept me updated for each step of the process. So pleased with my pretty mobile!

Shop policies

Last updated on November 22, 2011
Welcome to the Flutter and Twirl Policy Page!!

My name is Sara and all of the items listed in my shop are handmade by me. I do not wrap my own wire with thread or make my own paper (unless specifically noted because I LOVE making paper). I use a variety of materials to create certain shapes, silhouettes, colors, and to evoke a certain memory or feeling. I may not present a totally accurate representation of natural branches, but more-so a stylized representation of natural elements. ..I like them :)

If you have an idea for a custom order, please let me know and I will be happy to work with you to realize the dream item. If I determine that the custom item has a broader appeal, I may continue to offer the item in my shop.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
Payment is required before each mobile is created and shipped.

I accept payment through Pay Pal including E-Checks. Payment must be received within 5 days unless you contact me and make other arrangements. If payment is not received I will cancel the order.
Shipping
Mobiles are carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed in durable cardboard boxes. The branches of each completed mobile are collapsed or nested together then wrapped by the string used to suspend the mobile. I nest the branches and wrap the mobile with the string in order to prevent as much shifting or friction as possible.

I ship through the US Postal Service. Parcels tend to ship Priority but occasionally First Class due to size and weight. If you need to upgrade shipping to Express or Overnight shipping, the additional cost will be covered by the customer.

Typically, there is a 7 - 11 day manufacturing window before a mobile is shipped. This means that it will ultimately take a total of 2 weeks, plus or minus a day to receive the mobile from time of payment. If the customer needs a rush on an item, please specify that in a conversation before purchasing. I will be very happy to accommodate any special needs :)
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds and returns are eligible when the original item has been damaged in transit from the artist to the recipient. Exchanges will be made, eagerly, at the artist's expense with the exception of shipping.

The sizes of each mobile are included in each listing. If you are looking with a specific space in mind, please measure the space and determine which mobile size (mini, small, medium, large, extra large) would look most appropriate. Due to the cost of materials and time, I cannot accept exchanges based on size.

If you do not see a mobile listed in a size you would prefer, please tell me in a convo and I will be happy to either renew a listing or make you a custom order! :)
Additional policies and FAQs
If you have any additional questions, PLEASE ask :) I am more than happy to work with you to ensure your satisfaction :)

The most important things to consider when hanging a mobile (ANY mobile, not just mine) in a nursery, are to use the right tools and hardware when hanging a mobile (drill motor, screw anchors, and an eye hook) and to hang the mobile well out of the reach of your little one. Even if a mobile has soft parts, if it is placed within a kiddos reach, it could be pulled down and scratch or hurt the child. My own angel baby nephew tries to grab the felt monkeys on the jungle mobile I made for him. Fortunately, he can only reach them when held up to the mobile :)
