Frequently asked questions
What kind of papers do you use for your art prints?

Hahnemuhle's TORCHON is used for all of my poetry I have available on my website FocusedArtworks.com

TORCHON paper is a matte 285gsm acid free fine art paper with a parchment paper surface. This paper is coated for excellent image sharpness and optimum color graduation. The coating also offers a very high level of water resistance.

ENTRADA Rag Natural is an award-winning 100% cotton smooth fine art paper (300gsm). A decadent upgrade from a print to a fine art print.

LASAL Archival Matte Paper, also known as Moab Lasal Photo Matte, features a smooth surface, heavy weight (230 g, 9.5-mil), neutral white, matte paper.

What does GSM mean on a paper type?

GSM is a fancy way of saying the thickness of the paper. The thicker the print is, the more sturdy it will be.

For example 300 gsm is THICKER than 180 gsm. Also most authorized signature stamps come with a thicker paper type. So for longevity, thickness helps your art print last longer.
