About Papa Gee

Papa Gee is an author, artist, tarot reader, perfumer, and rootworker. Most of his creations draw inspiration from his unique form of Southern Folk Magic that combines his own heritage of Appalachian Folk Magic and his practice of Conjure and Hoodoo.

He is a member of AIRR (Association of Independent Readers and Rootworkers) and is a frequent guest on the Lucky Mojo Hoodoo Rootwork Hour.

He is the author of 10 books, including “Casting Love Spells,” "The Use of Magical Oils in Hoodoo, Prayer, and Spellwork" and "Papa Gee's Hoodoo Herbal." He and his husband are the owners of aromaG's Botanica in Nashville, TN where they annually host the Tennessee Folk Magic Festival.
