Johanna fundó oficialmente Follow Me K9 en 2017. Ha sido un verdadero proyecto apasionante. Comenzó en Nebraska, y tras casarse y mudarse varias veces, ahora se encuentra en Helena, Montana. ¡Empezar un negocio desde cero no es para cualquiera! Johanna empezó a trabajar con perros en sexto grado, paseando a los perros del vecindario. Su primer trabajo fue en una residencia canina donde trabajó durante los veranos de la preparatoria y su primer año de universidad, hasta que cerró. Después de graduarse, trabajó en tiendas de mascotas donde se certificó como entrenadora de mascotas, en clínicas veterinarias donde aprendió sobre la salud y el bienestar canino durante casi seis años, y en una residencia/guardería canina donde aprendió sobre el juego y el comportamiento de los perros. Además, cuenta con años de experiencia cuidando mascotas. Todas estas experiencias combinadas la llevaron a abrir su propio negocio en 2017, donde ofrece alojamiento en casa, guardería, entrenamiento diurno, alojamiento y entrenamiento, paseos en grupo y clases particulares. Este es un proyecto apasionante que se ha hecho realidad. La esperanza es que crezcas y disfrutes de la mejor vida posible con tu mascota. ¡Siempre hay algo nuevo que aprender! Sin duda, es un viaje. Los perros son los mejores maestros.

Johanna officially started Follow Me K9 in 2017. It has been a true labor of love. Starting in Nebraska, after marriage and a few moves, have now ended up in Helena, Montana. Starting a business over from scratch is not for the faint of heart! Johanna started working with dogs in 6th grade - walking neighborhood dogs. Her first job was a boarding kennel where she worked through high school summers and her first year of college until the kennel was closed. After college, she worked at pet stores where she became a certified pet trainer, vet clinics where she learned about dogs health and well-being for almost 6 years, and worked at a dog boarding/daycare where she learned about dog play and behavior. She also has years of pet sitting through all of these jobs. All of these combined experiences led up to her opening her own business in 2017 where she did in home boarding, daycare, day training, board and train, pack walks, and private lessons. This is a labor of love coming to fruition. The hope is that you grow and have the best life ever with your pet. There is always more to learn! It's definitely a journey. Dogs are the best teachers.
