Owner, Des Moines
Having a penchant for American history goes much further than a four-year degree for Adam, it's become an integral part of his life. A self-taught walking encyclopedia of traditional hand tools, he specializes in axe restoration & conceptual design.
Erich is a man of adventure. When he's not in the workshop custom designing intricately burned hickory axe handles, he can be found restoring vintage motorcycles or playing shows across the midwest under the moniker Phantom Scout.
Representing our Southern heritage, Andrew heads up the hand made leather goods department. He works from Fontenelle's "Hattiesburg Outpost" using traditional saddlery methods through a collaborative design process with our other owners.
With a background in management & financial planning, Asher is successful at anything he sets his mind to. Combining these assets with inherited knowledge from old school laborers of America's blue collar past, he wears several hats at Fontenelle.

Please allow up to two weeks for shipping. Fontenelle Supply Co., while founded on the backs of a handful of talented folks, is often a one man show, which brings obvious limitations. Please send us an email with your shipping and deadline requests, and we will do our best to comply.

Disclaimer: The axes and edge tools sold here at Fontenelle Supply Co. are vintage artifacts of our history, some dating as far back as the early 1900s. Do not expect a pristine, factory fresh piece of machined composite steel when your axe arrives. It is our goal to restore these finely crafted tools to as near their original condition as possible while preserving their original character. This is why many of the axes we sell still bear the tell-tale signs of years of use. We choose to leave such imperfections as light pitting, partially painted areas, or light mushrooming of the poll intentionally to remind us of where this tool has come from and to treat it with more care and respect than one would show a modern reproduction.
