Purchased in oak rose - a warm, subtle shade made distinctive by the equisite shape, and glitter-trimmed "fluttery" edges. The rose petal detail is clearly visible in a variety of holders, even a tall pair that swoops up stlightly which I feared would swallow the base. I haven't yet lit them as they were purchased for a special occassion in Oct (didn't want to miss having these unique candles as part of the festivities). It will be bittersweet to finally light them, sad to see them go. But I'm holding on to that as part of their beauty. Loved, lost and always remembered because of how they graced the day. And grace the day they will. If possible, they're even more elegant than pictured! And Marcie is fantastic to work with. A fine artist in every way, from her kind soul to her amazing design and craftmanship.
